The Hub at a glance

A five-minute tour of the Fareway Hub, so every other guide feels familiar.

4 min read Checked against the Hub, September 2026

The Fareway Hub is the website where you create and run your leagues. Sign in at ply.golf/operator in any browser, with your phone number and a code sent to it by text — there is no password.

The main menu

The dark green menu on the left is on every page. It is how you move between the main areas of the Hub.

Menu itemWhat it’s for
DashboardYour starting page: shortcuts and a log of recent changes.
LeaguesAll your leagues. Create a new one, or open one to manage it.
EventsOne-off competitions you run, plus Fareway Events your venue can join.
PromoteEmail golfers an invitation to a league.
SettingsVenue details, simulators, payouts and your account.

The menu can differ slightly by account. If your Hub has no Dashboard, it opens on Leagues instead; Promote appears once your account is linked to a venue.

  • Venue name (top left): if you manage more than one venue, click it to switch. Everything you see belongs to the venue shown there.
  • Report a Bug (bottom left): click it whenever something doesn’t look right. It goes straight to the Fareway team.

The Dashboard

  • The three counts at the top show your active leagues, members and active events.
  • Quick Actions start the most common jobs. Create New League opens the league wizard; Create Challenge Game starts a one-off game.
  • Bookings shows confirmed reservations for today, the next 7 days and this month.
  • Recent Activity is a running log of changes at your venue — what changed, when, and who did it. Handy when more than one person works in the Hub.

Inside a league

Click Leagues, then a league’s name. You’ll spend most of your time on this page.

  1. League Actions — extra tools for the whole league.
  2. Add Team — register a team yourself.
  3. Share — the sign-up link and QR code.
  4. Participation and Payments — teams, players, sessions and money collected. The Payments card only shows when the league has something to collect.
  5. League Information — a summary. Edit League changes it.
  6. The tabs — one for each part of running the league.
TabUse it to…

ScheduleGo week by week: choose courses, see who plays, open scorecards and enter scores.
Side GamesSet up skins and other side games, enter golfers, and see results and a weekly recap.

League Actions holds tools for the whole league, such as Refresh Sessions and Manage Handicap Overrides. Admins also see Schedule All Teams (or Generate Matchups on match-play leagues) and Clear Schedule…, and recurring-time leagues get Schedule & tee times.
