Edit a league
Where each league setting lives after the league exists, how to change one week, and what's locked.
Where to change what
League settings live in a few different places.

Leagues your league Schedule
The Schedule tab is where most weekly work happens.
- Division filter — appears when you use divisions.
- Week buttons — pick which week to view.
- Course bar — the course for this week.
- View — By time, By bay or By team.
- Edit session — change this week’s settings.
- Session menu — copy emails, snapshot handicaps, close the session.
- Handicap chip — each golfer’s handicap for this week.
- Scorecard icon — open the scorecard and enter scores.
- Swap arrows — replace that golfer.
The Classic / By Week switch (top right) changes how the schedule is laid out. Leaderboard shows that week’s results.
Edit league details
Leagues your league Edit League
- Open the league and click Edit League (in the League Information box).
- Change what you need. Grey items with a padlock are locked.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.

Change one week
Schedule pick a week Edit session
Use this when one week should play differently — for example, a week with a different handicap percentage.
- Open Schedule and click the week you want.
- Click Edit session.
- Use the tabs — Format, Teams, Points, Details (and Matchups on match-play weeks) — to make your change. Teams and Points only show when they apply.
- Click Save.

| Contest format, Scoring format | Once scores have been entered for the week (or it’s finalized), the picker is replaced by a short explanation. |
| Gross or net | Which score the week is ranked and paid on. Choosing Gross also turns that week’s handicaps off. |
| Handicapped? | Whether this week’s scores use handicaps, and how much of each (the Handicap Percentage slider). |
| Round | How many holes the week is played over — for example Full 18. |
Choices on the Format tab take effect as soon as you pick them. Save applies the Teams and Points tabs.
On the Teams tab, How this week groups golfers is normally By registration: golfers score as the team they registered with. Saving that tab clears any groups the week already had.
Set the course for a week
Schedule pick a week the course bar
- Open Schedule and click the week.
- In the course bar, click Choose a course (or Edit if one is already set).
- Open the Simulator Course drop-down and pick the course. The list is alphabetical.
- Check Default Tees. The Hub fills in a tee set (for example, Back Tees with the yardage); change it if you like.
- A message says Course Updated, and the course bar now shows the name and tees with an Edit button. Repeat for the next week.
Side games such as Closest to the Pin need the course too, so their holes can be chosen.
Questions people ask
Why is Contest format or Scoring format locked for a week?
Scores have already been entered for that week (or it's finalized). The format picker is replaced by a short explanation. You can still change the other settings on the Format tab.
Why is Players Per Team greyed out?
Teams are already registered at that size. It can only change if every team is removed, so ask Fareway before you do that.
I changed Total League Sessions and no weeks were added. Why?
Changing the number doesn't add or remove sessions that already exist, and it locks once sessions have been created. If you need more or fewer weeks, ask Fareway to help.
