Questions people ask
Why can't I enter scores for a week?
The week has no course. The Schedule shows "No course set · this week cannot take a score". Go to Schedule, click the week, and choose a course in the course bar.
Does subbing a player cost the team extra?
No. A swap keeps the seat that's already paid for — no refund, and nothing more is charged.
A team paid in cash but still shows Not Started. What do I do?
Cash isn't tracked until you record it. Go to Payments, click Actions on the team, then Record Payment.
How do I change a golfer's handicap?
Open the league's Players tab and click the pencil icon in the golfer's Handicap column. Type the new 18-hole handicap, choose the week it applies to, and click Save override.
A golfer can't sign in. What's wrong?
Sign-in uses a phone number and a text-message code — there's no password. Check that the phone number on their account is the phone in their hand.
Can I add skins after creating the league?
Yes, until the season starts — use Add a game on the Side Games tab. Once the first week has started, no new games can be added.
Why does a scorecard say Round Incomplete?
At least one hole is empty. Click Edit Scores, fill every hole and click Save Changes.
How do I refund a team?
Refunds are issued in Stripe. Cancelled registrations that still hold money are listed under Refunds owed on the league's Payments tab.
Can I change how teams play, or players per team, after creating a league?
How teams play is fixed once the league is created. Players Per Team is fixed once any team registers. Ask Fareway before you create the league if you're unsure.
