Side games, explained
A side game is a small, optional competition running alongside the round you already signed up for. Same round, same score — one more thing to win. You opt in when you register, and you can skip it.
Skins
Every hole is worth a prize — a "skin". Win the hole outright and it is yours. Tie it and nobody wins: the skin carries over and stacks onto the next hole, so a run of ties can leave one hole worth a pile. Played net, handicap strokes apply hole by hole, which is what keeps a mixed group honest.
Pro-Am
You are paired with a professional's live tournament round. Your score combines with theirs, so how you place depends on your own play and on how your pro does that week — a way into a real event without leaving your bay.
What to expect when you opt in
- Entry is separate from your registration, and it is optional — your main competition is unaffected either way.
- Scores come from the round you are already playing. There is no second card and nothing extra to enter.
- Standings update in the app as scores post, alongside the event's own leaderboard.
- Winnings show in the app when the event wraps. Your venue or organizer handles the payout itself.
Which side games are available is up to the venue or organizer running the event, so you will only see the ones they turned on.
